About Our Classic Osetra Caviar
Caviar fans love Osetra caviar for its golden hues, nutty flavor and superb texture. Osetra caviar comes exclusively from Russian sturgeon (species: Acipenser gueldenstaedtii). These fish produce their first roe around age 7. Meanwhile, other sturgeon species mature much faster.
Russian sturgeon are a critically endangered species. Therefore, sturgeon farms are the primary source of Osetra caviar today. Unfortunately, China produces most of the caviar available on the U.S. market. Imported caviar may contain additives and hybrid roe.
However, Marshallberg Farm harvests Osetra from pure bred Russian sturgeon. Moreover, our sustainable farming practices adhere to strict U.S. standards. It is no surprise that U.S. caviar from sturgeon raised via indoor R.A.S. is ranked a “Best Choice” for sustainability by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch. To sum up, Masrahllberg Farm produces some of the cleanest caviar on the planet! Skip the middle man. Instead, buy pure, sustainable American Osetra caviar direct from Marshallberg Farm.

Thank you for visiting Marshallberg Farm, the largest producer of Russian sturgeon and Osetra caviar in the U.S.A.

Heard about the company from travel channel, Andrew Zimmerman- in2015 +/-. Being a caviar snob (yes- I make this statement) and sharing with family and friends, I highly recommend! Quality, taste, and sustainability. Will definitely order again for special occasion! Price-wise very fair.Thank you, for keeping my mind sharp- what better way to get myOmega 3’s!

I love good caviar, having feasted on Golden Caviar when visiting the Caspian Sea some time ago (this was early 70’s in Iran before the wild fish were considered endangered). Needless to say, it was simply the best. This was fresh caught – never packed for export. I have ordered from other purveyors on the East Coast; most recently during the New Year holiday. They have a well known reputation, and the Caviar is OK, but…The sample I just tried from Marshallberg Farm was far better than that vendor product, a wonderful surprise. I will be reordering more soon, from Marshallberg Farm. Enjoy!

We tried the the classic grade osetra caviar, and so happy we did! We had a dinner party and everyone loved it. We served some with blinis, some as part of an open California Roll and the rest incorporated into a delicious pasta dish. A wonderful way to enjoy caviar on a budget. Thank you Marshallberg Farm!!!

I tried this an event hosted at Transfer Food Co. It was the best caviar I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for caviar. I had such a great interaction with them as well. I highly recommend this caviar and Marshallberg Farm as a business!! Thank you!

I am admittedly a caviar fanatic! I read about Marshallberg Farms and immediately had to try it. The Classic Osetra is exceptional! It rivals even the best that is available here East Coast. The first time I ordered it, I opened a 1.75 tin ( just to taste) and ended up polishing off all by myself standing in the kitchen. ( I did slice a lemon and toasted 2 pieces of thin sliced bread) I’m going to now admit I didn’t tell anyone about the other tin. It is that good!!! I have also tried the smoked sturgeon. I made a spicy fish dip with it and also served it on crackers with a sour cream horseradish sauce. One of the owners Lianne , is very helpful and adds a personal touch every time. The packaging is all environmentally friendly and arrives ice cold. Perfect gift ( even if it’s for yourself.
